Refund Policy

Shrimps Cancellation and Refund Policy

This policy applies to all Full-Service Catering and Hot & Fresh Delivered Boil bookings paid for at the time of scheduling.

To ensure the highest quality of fresh seafood and guaranteed staff scheduling for your event, we require adherence to the following cancellation policy:

Please note that a $50 Administrative Fee is non-refundable on all cancellations, regardless of the notice period, to cover initial processing and administrative costs.

Cancellation Schedule and Refunds

30 Days or More Before Event Date

  • Refund: You will receive a 90% cash refund of the total payment (minus the non-refundable $50 Administrative Fee).

  • Action: We refund the balance to your original payment method.

 

 

15 – 29 Days Before Event Date

You may choose one of the following two options:

  1. Partial Refund: You will receive a 50% cash refund of the total payment (minus the non-refundable $50 Administrative Fee).

  2. Full Credit: You will receive a 100% Booking Credit for the full amount paid, valid toward a future Shrimps booking within one (1) year of the original event date.

 

 

7 – 14 Days Before Event Date

  • No Cash Refund: We are unable to offer a cash refund for cancellations made during this window.

  • Booking Credit: You will receive a 100% Booking Credit for the full amount paid, valid toward a future Shrimps booking within six (6) months of the original event date.

 

 

0 – 6 Days Before Event Date

  • No Refund or Credit: Cancellations made within six (6) days of the event date forfeit the entire payment amount. At this stage, fresh seafood procurement and staff scheduling are fully finalized.

 

We understand that travel plans can change, and we encourage you to contact us as soon as possible if you need to modify your booking date.

1. Disclaimer for Weather and Acts of God 

Weather and Unforeseen Circumstances: Shrimps reserves the right to cancel or postpone any scheduled catering event due to severe weather (including tropical storms, hurricanes, or dangerous lightning) or other Acts of God. In the event of a weather-related cancellation, no cash refunds will be issued. Instead, we will work with you to reschedule your booking to an available date within one year, or we will issue a 100% Booking Credit valid for one year. Note: We will not cancel due to simple rain; we require appropriate shelter on-site for such conditions.

 

2. Disclaimer for Guests/Property Non-Compliance

Venue/Property Access and Regulations: The customer is responsible for ensuring that the rental property, condo, or event venue allows for outside catering and/or on-site cooking. If the Shrimps crew is denied access to the property or if local regulations prevent the service from being performed on the event day, the booking will be considered a customer cancellation falling under the 0–6 days schedule (No Refund or Credit).

 

3. Disclaimer Regarding Price Changes 

Pricing for Future Bookings: Any Booking Credit issued is for the dollar amount paid at the time of the original booking. If our pricing has increased when you choose to re-book, you will be responsible for paying the difference in price at that time.
